
Field Parsons grew up in Dallas, TX and attended the University of Oklahoma where he competed in 2019 and qualified for Nationals. After graduating OU in 2021, he flew under Part 135 for Jet Linx Aviation on the Beechjet in Houston, TX as a part of the Southwest Airlines Destination 225° Cadet Pathway. He transitioned to Southwest Airlines in 2023, where he currently works as a First Officer and volunteers as a Destination 225° University Pathway mentor for current students.
Outside of his professional flying, Field remains active in the general aviation and warbird communities, where he flies the BT-13 and PT-19 WWII trainers for the Houston Wing of the Commemorative Air Force and is a member of the National Gay Pilots Association.
He enjoys photography, non-rev travel, skiing, and competing around the world with the Southwest Airlines Ski and Snowboard Club.
