Raised in a military family, Edison spent his childhood living throughout Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Hawaii, Germany, Colorado, and Kansas before eventually settling in Salina. He has competed with Kansas State University’s Flight Team since 2026 and is pursuing a degree in Professional Pilot with a minor in Aviation Safety while working toward his Private Pilot Certificate.

As a first-generation college student, Edison is passionate about leadership, mentorship, and creating opportunities for future competitors. As a Student Representative on the NIFA Council, he advocates for student perspectives and works to strengthen connections between students, coaches, and industry partners.

Outside of aviation, Edison enjoys fitness, traveling, exploring museums and aviation events, and spending time with family and friends. He also has a passion for animals, nature, and lifelong learning.
